EVENT & REVIEW - SAFI WHITE EXPERT ANTI ACNE

Hello semua ! Jadi hari selasa lalu aku diundang Safi untuk menghadiri Safi Blogger Gathering bersama dengan teman-teman blogger lainnya.

Bersama dengan bintang tamu acara, kak Cheryl Raissa <3

* Buat yang belum tau, Safi adalah merek skincare yang berasal dari Malaysia dan telah hadir di Indonesia. Safi merupakan skincare natural yang telah teruji halal sehingga aman digunakan oleh semua perempuan Indonesia.

Di acara ini kami diperkenalkan dengan produk-produk Safi, terutama produk baru dari Safi yaitu Anti Acne Series.

Jadi Safi Anti Acne series ini adalah produk baru yang berguna untuk memberantas jerawat, dan pastinya cocok banget untuk oily skin karena bisa membantu mengontrol minyak berlebihan di muka.

Series anti acne ini terbuat dari bahan utama berupa Habbatus Sauda & Oxy White.

Apa itu Habbatus Sauda? Habbatus Sauda atau dikenal dengan nama Jintan Hitam adalah rempah-rempah yang digunakan sebagai tanaman obat, salah satu fungsinya yaitu "memperkuat sistem kekebalan tubuh dari serangan virus, kuman dan bakteri - Wikipedia". Sedangkan Oxy White adalah teknologi Safi yang bekerja membantu meningkatkan penyerapan oksigen dan penyerapan nutrisi serta membantu memperlambat efek dari pembentukan melanin sehingga membuat kulit terasa kencang dan cerah merata.

Selain itu, semua produk anti acne adalah water based. Jadi ga perlu khawatir muka berminyak meskipun kamu memiliki oily skin.

Kemasan dari produk-produk Safi juga dirancang minimalis sesuai dengan selera perempuan-perempuan Indonesia, jadi jangan bingung kalau kemasannya berbeda dengan Safi yang ada di Malaysia ( produk tetap sama ).

Selain pengenalan produk-produk, kami juga diberikan sesi merangkai bunga bouquet hijab, dan beruntungnya aku bisa memenangkan best bouquet :')

Selain itu juga ada sesi tanya jawab bagi para peserta, dan pemilihan pemenang best question & best dress. Setelah acara selesai, kami berfoto bareng dengan kak Cheryl Raissa dong ! hehe

Dari acara ini kami juga diberikan goodie bag yang berisi :

1. Safi Purifying Makeup Remover

Ukuran : 100 mL, cocok untuk dibawa travelling

Kemasan : terbuat dari bahan plastik tebal, namun tidak terasa murah

Thoughts : produk ini bagus banget dalam menghapus makeup karena mengandung oil sehingga memudahkan penghapusan makeup waterproof. Meskipun mengandung oil, produk ini tidak terlalu berminyak di kulit. Pada pemakaian pertama muka aku sedikit kemerahan yang mungkin karena belum terbiasa dengan produk baru, namun pada pemakaian selanjutnya tidak ada tanda-tanda kemerahan sama sekali.

2. Safi 2in1 Cleanser & Toner

Ukuran : 150ml

Kemasan : botol plastik tebal dengan pump yang memudahkan pemakaian

Thoughts : kesan pertama pas aku nyobain produk ini adalah dingin ! Ya dingin, karena produk ini mengandung menthol sehingga memiliki cooling sensation, dan aku suka banget karena rasanya tuh muka jadi freshh banget ! Kemudian cleanser ini juga tidak mengeringkan muka aku (I have dry skin), mungkin karena produk ini juga sebagai toner. Overall suka banget banget banget sama produk ini.

3. Safi Facial Cleanser

Ukuran : 100g

Kemasan : tube, bagus karena lebih higenis

Thoughts : untuk produk ini kurang cocok di aku karena tipe kulit aku, dan setelah menggunakan produk ini muka jadi bersih namun terasa keset (kering bagi diriku). Tapi menurut aku, produk ini bakal cocok banget untuk kulit berminyak. Jadi buat yang kulitnya tipe oily, go try it out !

4. Safi Anti Acne Cream

Ukuran : 15g, untuk ukuran obat jerawat ini gede banget !

Kemasan : tube dengan tutup putar

Thoughts : produk ini bekerja dalam menyamarkan noda-noda bekas jerawat dan menenangkan jerawat di muka aku, but still produk ini kurang cocok sama aku, karena kulit di bagian hidung aku sedikit mengelupas since aku punya kulit kering dan produk ini mengurangi produksi minyak pada kulit. Aku rekomen banget buat kamu yang memiliki tipe oily skin. Apabila kamu berjerawat namun memiliki kulit kering, aku juga rekomen produk ini karena memang membantu banget buat menenangkan jerawat, yang penting jangan lupa pakai pelembab ya!

EVENT - Brun Brun Paris x Beauty Journal Roadshow Medan

Hello guys ! So I was invited to Brun Brun Paris x Beauty Journal roadshow event at 8th of Dec.

When I first arrived, I was asked to sign the registration form, and receive a card which will be exchanged with the goodie bag later.

After I've found a seat, I went to the look for the canapes ( I mean who doesn't love foods? )

And beside the canapes table, there are Brun Brun Paris ' s pop up booth, which we're able to look around and buy some products.

We also relaxed to the sounds of the live band while waiting for Rachel Goddard ! YES Rachel Goddard came here to show us beauty demo ! <3

Around probably 14.30 or 15.00, Rachel Goddard shows up !!!

But I was too excited that I didn't took any pictures during her beauty demo ( I was busy Instastory - ing lol )

So here's a glimpse of her :p

Anyway she did a beauty demo with Brun Brun Paris's products, such as Lip Eye Cheek Color, Pink Magic Kiss & Blush ( which I bought later on because it looks so pretty ! ) , and upcoming product, which is a new palette that consists of eyeshadows, lipsticks, blush, and bronzer ( I swear they're so pigmented ) & I cannot wait for it !!! I mean it is only Rp. 99.000 with such good quality, and literally everything in a palette !

* will try to review the product once I got it ( I hope )

After the beauty demo, the event doesn't end yet. We had a SHOPPING RACE !!

All the attendants are divided into 5 groups if I'm not mistaken, and I was in the last group, called Brunelli ( I wonder if I spelt it right ).

To play the shopping race, each team were given 2 hints at first, which each team are divided into 2 sections of 5 members ( one to finish the fashion shopping , and another to finish the makeup shopping )

After each team finished shopping and received the 3rd hint, all teams started to style their chosen member as model and then proceed to showcase their works

After the shopping race ended, Brun Brun Paris & Beauty Journal started to choose some nomination.

And guys, I won the best dress and received another 250k voucher ( I am so thankful ! )

Brun Brun Paris Lip Eye Cheek Color Review

Hello guys ! Long time no see.

I received a package from Sociolla today, which is BrunBrun Paris Lip Eye Cheek Color. They sent me 6 colors, which are mostly red-tone.

up to down : Civilized , Innocent, Entrapment, Elite, Jetset, Classical

I tried it on my lips, eyes, and cheeks ( like its name ) using the shade Civilized , and surprisingly it's very easy to blend ! Well I mean we wouldn't want to have patchy looking eyes & cheeks, right?

The color is pigmented and has matte finish ( but feels more to the velvety side ). It does transfer a little, but doesn't really change how it looks on the lips. I love the color selections, since I am more to the pinkish shade rather than brown. Also love how the tube is square and sleek looking.

They're very affordable too, only cost Rp. 45.900 each ! Very recommended to beginners who are searching for affordable makeup products, especially with the fact that this product is 3in1.

Ohhh andd BrunBrun Paris will be holding an event at 8 December, and I'm wayy too excited because Rachel Goddard will be there too !!!

REVIEW - Absolute New York Icon Palette

We're back again with another MBG x Absolute NY Makeup Competition !

This time, the theme's Iconic Look, which shows our own characteristics through our makeup.

Did the makeup looks with all Absolute NY Products, at their counter in SOGO Sun Plaza.

And here you go

 As you can see, I tend to go for long looking eyes with straight liners >.<

I always apply my shadow darker above the crease, and apply some light shimmery shadow on the center of the lid. Well all that to enhance my half-monolid eyes T-T

I also put some shimmery shadow on the inner corner to brighten it up.

And as you guess, didn't win the competition as well this time lol

But I did received a goodie bag from Absolute NY after I've finished doing my makeup :

 Inside the goodie bag, there are Icon Palette, Modest Matte Liquid Lipstick, and Concealer Pencil.

1. Icon Palette - Exposed

 Consist of 2 Mattes and 10 Shimmers

Packaging : made from tin metal (?) , include mirror and dual ended brush

Pigmentation : Mostly very good, but some lighter color tend to shows up less.

Texture : quite smooth, but have some fallouts

Price : Rp. 255.000

This palette is suitable for both neutral or smoky looks, recommended for beginner to use, espcially because they included a dual ended brush that's very useful.

Rate : 4.5 out of 5

2. Modest Matte Liquid Lipstick

Much darker in real life, picture is taken right in front of my window

Shade : MML04 Whisper

Pigmentation : Good

Texture : Thick creamy, easy to apply

Transfer a bit, easy to remove

Price : Rp. 155.000

Honestly don't really like this colour, because it's mauve kind of shade and looks very dark on me in real life... so yeah, would probably love it better with pinkish nude shade :(

3. All Purpose Pencil - Concealer

Doesn't came in a box

Texture : very smooth, super love !

Price : Rp. 75.000

this works really well for the eyebrows ! haven't tried it on my lashline, but I think it'll work too :)

REVIEW - Absolute New York Starry Eyed

So Medan Beauty Gram and Absolute New York held a makeup competition on 08 Feb-23 Feb.

We were given the theme Valentine / Chinese New Year makeup look, and we used all of Absolute NY makeup products at their counter in SOGO Sun Plaza.

I decided to go with Chinese New Year look, since Valentine has passed.

I lengthen my eyes with straight long liner, almost straight brows to give the innocent look, red lips as a symbol of CNY celebration, and some glitter in the inner corner & crease to add more festive look.

On 4th of March we gathered again at Absolute NY Counter in SOGO because they will announce 3 winners.

I didn't win the competition though, but I'm glad that I participated because I earned another experience :p

Besides of the winner announcement, Absolute NY introduced their newest product, which is Starry Eyed metallic liner.

Starry eyed consists of 5 metallics and 1 matte.

I used Solar on my crease & lunar on the inner corner [ as seen on my selfie above ]

My most favorite of all is the shade Lunar, because it is the perfecttttt shade for the inner corner T.T

Unluckily when I chose it, they're running out of stock, and so I went with Solar. I also received a dual ended lippie call Perfect Pair - Duo Parfait.

1. Starry Eyed metallic liner

Shade : Solar
Pigmentation : Very Good

Applicator : Stiff brush, makes it a bit hard to apply

Texture : Liquid, but not too watery, dry fast, and doesn't smudge

Price : Rp. 135.000

I absolutely love this liner, but would be happier if I had the Lunar one, it's amazing !

2. Perfect Pair - Duo Parfait

Shade : ALD01 Sugar & Spice
Pigmentation : Very Good

Texture : A bit dry, doesn't glide very smoothly on the lips

Price : Rp. 155.000

This lippie is dual ended, it has a lip liner on one side, and lipstick on the other side.

Honestly the color doesn't really blend very well together as a lip liner, since it is way darker than the lipstick itself. But they're great for Korean ombre lips.
